GCT Rent Car Albania – Terms of Service ( Rental terms)
By booking or renting a vehicle from GCT Rent Car Albania, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
“Renter/You” – the person named in the booking/contract.
“Vehicle” – the car provided by GCT or its partners.
“Agreement” – these Terms plus your booking confirmation & rental contract.
2. Eligibility & documents
Minimum age: 21 (luxury/SUV: 21).
Valid driver’s license held for 1–2 years (IDP may be required for non-Latin licenses).
Passport/ID and a credit/debit card in the driver’s name.
3. Booking, payment & deposit
A booking is confirmed after payment or deposit pre-authorization.
Security deposit: €100 –€200 (car group dependent).
Accepted payments: Visa/Mastercard/AmEx/PayPal/Cash-on-pickup.
Prices include: standard insurance, taxes, and basic roadside assistance unless stated.
4. Pickup, return & late policy
Airport hand-off available at TIA; we monitor flights.
Return fuel policy: same-to-same. Missing fuel may be charged + service fee.
Late return >60 min may incur an extra day charge.
5. Mileage, cross-border & usage
Mileage: unlimited unless specified.
Cross-border travel requires written permission and may incur fees/insurance changes.
Prohibited uses: off-road, racing, towing, smoking in car, carrying hazardous goods, or illegal acts.
6. Insurance & excess
Third-party liability + collision damage waiver with excess €{{amount}}–€{{amount}}.
Options: SCDW/Full Protection, glass/tyre coverage, roadside cover.
Insurance void if Terms are breached (e.g., intoxication, unauthorized driver).
7. Additional drivers & extras
Extra driver must meet eligibility; fee may apply.
Extras: child seat, GPS, snow chains, Wi-Fi, etc. (subject to availability).
8. Fines, tolls & damages
Traffic/parking fines, tolls, and congestion charges are your responsibility.
Cleaning fee may apply for smoke, pets without carriers, spills, or excessive dirt.
9. Cancellations & no-shows
Free cancellation up to 24h before pickup.
No-show or late cancellation: up to 1 rental day charge.
Early return: refunds at GCT’s discretion (unused days not guaranteed).
10. Mechanical issues & accidents
Call us immediately for breakdowns or accidents: +355 69 841 0025.
Police report required for insurance claims. Do not admit liability.
11. Liability & limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GCT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from rental or website use. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.
12. Changes to bookings
We may provide an equal or upgraded vehicle when the booked model is unavailable at no extra cost.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Albania. Courts of Tirana shall have jurisdiction.
